It's the condo life for me
There’s a condo community for everyone — whether you prefer a downtown high-rise, a loft-style conversion or a small complex in a serene setting. Condos often feature amenities like swimming pools and tennis courts, and there’s a good chance someone else takes care of maintenance and mowing the lawn. It all adds up to a lifestyle you enjoy.
But my HOA already has insurance...right?
Your association (HOA) master policy covers the property grounds, common areas, and outside/physical structure of your condo. Coverage under this policy typically ends at the wall studs of your unit. Condominium policies add liability coverage and help protect your personal property and the interior of your unit.
Injuries and lawsuits
Personal liability covers lawsuits against you or your family members if you’re responsible for someone else’s injuries or damages to their property.
Your personal possessions
Your furniture, appliances, clothes, electronics, tools, power equipment, etc. are all covered.
Upgrades to your unit
Some association’s policies may cover the original furnishings, but very few will cover your upgrades.
